Refund policy

At Mad Monkey Distillery, we take pride in the quality of our spirits and experiences. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law and South Australian liquor licensing regulations.
1. Change of Mind
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind. Please ensure all purchases are made carefully and with consideration.
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. You can contact us via email at artisan@madmonkeydistillery.com.au with the following details:

A brief description of the issue

Clear photos showing the fault or damage
Once we’ve reviewed your claim, we may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund depending on the circumstances and product availability.
3. Returns Process
To return an item, please:

Contact us at artisan@madmonkeydistillery.com.au within 7 days of delivery.

Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending anything back.

Package the item securely to prevent further damage during return transit.
Please note: returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
4. Refunds
Where applicable, approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times may vary.
5. Shipping Costs

If the return is due to a fault or an error on our part, we’ll cover the cost of return shipping.
- In all other instances, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
6. Distillery Tours & Tastings
If you've booked a distillery tour or tasting:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will be refunded in full.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your booking are non-refundable.

7. Responsible Service of Alcohol
Mad Monkey Distillery complies with all South Australian liquor laws. By purchasing from our online store or booking a tour or tasting, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request valid ID prior to service or delivery.
