At Mad Monkey Distillery, we aim to deliver your spirits quickly, safely, and in accordance with all applicable laws. This Shipping Policy outlines how and when we deliver our products, and your responsibilities as a recipient.
1. Responsible Alcohol Delivery
Mad Monkey Distillery complies with the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 and relevant South Australian liquor regulations. It is an offence:

For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years
Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units -
For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor
Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. All deliveries require a person over 18 years of age to be present and may require age verification at the point of delivery.

2. Where We Ship
We currently deliver to addresses within Australia only. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, Parcel Lockers, or international addresses at this time.
3. Processing Times
Orders are processed and dispatched from our South Australian distillery within 2–3 business days of purchase, excluding weekends and public holidays. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been shipped.
4. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
We partner with reliable Australian carriers to ensure timely delivery. Standard delivery estimates are:

Metro areas: 2–5 business days

Regional areas: 3–7 business days

Remote locations: 5–10 business days
Please note: delivery timeframes may be extended during peak periods or due to factors outside our control (e.g. weather, carrier delays, public holidays).
5. Delivery Instructions & Missed Deliveries
You may provide specific delivery instructions at checkout. However, alcohol cannot be left unattended or delivered to an unattended address.
If no one over the age of 18 is available to accept delivery, your order may be taken to a local depot or post office for collection. Re-delivery charges may apply.
6. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order size. We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time—please refer to our website or marketing communications for current offers.
7. Damaged, Delayed or Missing Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us promptly at artisan@madmonkeydistillery.com.au. We may request photos of damaged goods and will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include resending or refunding your order in line with our Refund & Returns Policy.
