There’s a reason the Mojito is a global classic — and we’ve put our own South Aussie stamp on it. This crisp, herbaceous version swaps in Saccharum, our sugarcane-based spirit, for a bolder, richer twist on the original.
Ingredients:
3–4 Mint leaves
½ Lime, cut into wedges
60ml Saccharum
15ml Simple syrup
Soda to top
Method:
Muddle mint and lime in a tall glass. Add Saccharum and syrup, fill with ice, and top with soda. Stir gently and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Why It Works:
Saccharum brings more body and complexity than white rum, giving this Mojito an earthier base while still keeping things light and zingy. Perfect for summer barbecues or beachside sips.
